We’ve had yet another successful start to the 2008/09 season with a strong performance
                                from our 11 teams after 3 rounds.  Thank you to all our sponsors for their contribution to the new      season.  We already have our first centurion, with an exceptional batting display by Jake Abraham in the B12’s with 120 runs. We’d also like to thank the parents for their continued support at all our junior games.

We will be entering three teams in the Granville District for the 2009 season. We are looking for Under 11/Under 12 players as well as two senior teams.  If anyone is interested in playing for AKA Crusaders, please contact one of the following people:

We need this information urgently so that we can register our club. We also require coaches, managers and sponsors for each of the teams.

The AKA would like to congratulate the members of the successful AKA Crusaders Touch Football Team for winning the Parramatta Touch Football Competition in their inaugural year.  This is the 1st team to win under the AKA Crusaders colours in touch football. Congratulations again to Joshua Essey ( Captain & Manager) and his team for a fantastic result and making history for the first time.

AKA is proud to annouce that for the 2008/2009 summer competition we will have 5 teams playing under the AKA Crusaders colours. four teams in touch football and 1 team in OZtag. The number of teams is up from three last year. Teams will be playing in the Parramatta and Westmead competitions. The Association's vision is to have up to 10 teams playing by 2010/2011 under the AKA Crusaders colours.

The Association is very interested in people intersted in setting up more teams. Please contact Danny Nehme on 0418 489 002 or  Emil Haddad on 0414 530 427. We want girls teams, Over 35's and mix teams.

On netball, the Associations has asked several times for expression of interest from our young girls and women interested in playing the sport. To date we have been unsuccessful and we ask people who are interested to contact either Joey Abood, AKA Sportsmaster on 0422 071 784  or  9630 7776.
